Overview

The Original Super Glue Delayed Setting Epoxy is a two-part epoxy adhesive with a 30-minute working time for complex assemblies where extended positioning is required.

Rated at 2,000 psi shear strength on steel and 1,400 psi on aluminium. Cures clear to light yellow.

Features
  • 30-minute working time — allows complex assemblies to be arranged and rearranged before setting.
  • Higher 2,000 psi shear strength — stronger bond than quick-set formula, suited to metal, glass, and structural applications.
  • Wider operating temperature range (-54°C to +107°C) — suited to more demanding environments.
  • Gap filling — bridges gaps up to 6.35mm (0.25").
  • Shockproof when cured — resists impact and vibration.
  • Suits ceramic, fibreglass, glass, leather, metal, most plastics, and wood.
Fitment / Notes
  • Surfaces must be clean, dry, and free from oil and grease before application.
  • Roughen surfaces with emery cloth or sandpaper for best results.
  • Mix thoroughly for approximately 1 minute until colour is uniform.
  • Apply to both surfaces and press together.
  • Remove excess immediately with denatured alcohol.
  • Note: Not suitable for polyethylene, polypropylene, or flexible plastics.
