UES International has been at this since 1904 — a Sydney company, now fourth-generation family-run, that engineers transport hardware and sources it globally. A couple of things worth getting right: a compression lock is the one to use where a door or hatch has to seal and not rattle, because it pulls the door in tight against its seal as it locks; a gas strut has to match both the length and the gas force (in Newtons) to the weight and size of the lid it's holding, or it'll either slam shut or not hold up — get us the weight and mount point and we'll help you spec it; and lashing rings are rated to a safe working load, so for tying down a real load you want the rated ring, not a light-duty one.
