Parts Stop stocks Slime tyre sealant — the green stuff that prevents and seals punctures from the inside. On the shelf, ready to go.
Slime goes in through the valve and coats the inside of the tyre or tube; when a nail, thorn or stake punches through, the sealant is forced into the hole and clogs it on the spot, sealing small punctures as they happen rather than leaving you with a flat. It earns its keep on anything that sits or cops regular punctures and isn't worth pulling apart each time — trailer and box-trailer tyres that go down between jobs, ride-on mowers, wheelbarrows, ATVs and camper tyres. Slime's been the name in tyre sealant since 1989, and it's water-based, so it washes out when you do eventually break the tyre down. Tell us the tyre and we'll source the correct product.
