Parts Stop stocks Bremick bolts and nuts — hardened high-tensile fasteners in both imperial and metric, on the shelf in the sizes trades actually reach for. On the shelf, ready to go.
We carry the black high-tensile bolts and matching nuts across imperial UNC, UNF and UNS threads from 1 inch to 1/4 inch, and metric M6 to M20 in 1.0, 1.25, 1.5 and 1.75 pitch — grade 8.8 where the load calls for it. The bit that trips people up is thread form and pitch: UNC (coarse) and UNF (fine) aren't interchangeable, metric coarse and fine are two different animals, and forcing the wrong one strips threads and fails under load — so it pays to match thread, pitch and grade properly, and grab a nut cut to the same. Keeping both imperial and metric high-tensile on the shelf is getting rare; we've kept it, because plenty of gear on a farm or in a workshop is still imperial. Bremick is Australia's long-standing trade fastener name, built on standards and testing since 1965. Bring in the old bolt and we'll match the thread.
